My staycation travel escape to Cornwall, United Kingdom.
As you can imagine, travel plans have been thrown into disarray this year.
And many of our travel plans will likely have to wait until later in the year when it’s safe to do so.
On the top of my must-visit list within the United Kingdom for later in the year has to be Cornwall.
After watching a handful of television shows based around Cornwall, it sure has sparked my interest in the area.
I’m up for getting away from the city life and swapping it for a coastal escape instead; this sounds like an ideal getaway at the moment.
Domestic travel within the UK/h2>
I’ve mostly been confined to exploring the four walls of my apartment in recent months and looking forward to planning a getaway as the United Kingdom starts to open up for domestic tourism slowly.
For the most up to date travel information, take a look at the UK government advice on domestic travel:
As many International holiday destinations have adopted a new traffic light colour system of Red, Amber and Green, it will take some time before international travel returns to normal.
At least for now, domestic travel is slowly easing and becoming safer to do so as long as you keep up to date and follow the UK government advice on travel within the UK.
I Want to plan my future travel trips within the UK as I’ve already had to cancel some of my international trips due to the current situation.
I would also like to support local businesses across the United Kingdom and travel domestic for 2021 as It’s been a tough year for the UK Hospitality industry as things start to open up again.
My travel plans
Loads to do in Cornwall include visiting some of the Top cities and towns to explore across the region, such as Newquay, St Ives, St Austell, Penzance, Truro and Falmouth.
As well as visiting some of the top attractions in the Cornwall area such as Padstow Harbour, Eden Project, Kynance Cove, Polperro Harbour and Pedn Vounder Beach.
Mostly, I’m looking forward to Escaping to the coast, enjoying the fresh sea breeze, relaxing on the beach and trying a spot of surfing around the area.
And also, Who can forget the bonus of fresh Cornish ice cream that’s not to be missed as well!
