10 Easy Travel Hacks that will Change the Way you Travel

Travelling is usually practised to refresh the mind, body, and soul. It is a widely recognised hobby, and people from different age groups embrace travelling as their passion.

Travelling is the fun part though, while packing is less exciting.

Packing does not have to be a pain in the neck though, as it can easily be done by following a master checklist.

Preparing a checklist of the things that you should pack for a trip helps you in avoiding bringing unnecessary stuff. Packing light is a huge tip for travellers, especially the ones that are always on the go.

If you are looking for travel hacks, then you are in luck. We have the easiest and simplest travel hacks, which you would want to apply the next time you go globe-trotting.

Wrap your Shoes

Thinking about how to pack your shoes in your luggage without your other stuff getting dirty? Wrap them in shower caps. Yes, you’ve read that right – shower caps. This prevents your shoes from getting all of your stuff dirty, while still being able to breathe.

Use your Sunglasses’ Case

Are you constantly annoyed by those loose cables that you have laying around?

Grab an old sunglasses case that you do not use anymore, tie them up (or use a rubber band to keep them tied), and stash them inside.

This prevents you from stumbling inside your bag while trying really hard to look for your charging cables, plus, this will prevent the cables from tearing apart.

Put those Bobby Pins in One Container

Most girls know how annoying it is to buy a stack of bobby pins just to lose every single one in just a couple of days. An incredibly simple hack that will change your life: put those bobby pins in an empty Tic Tac container. Brilliant, right?

Get a Shower Basket

Those shower baskets that you see at your local grocery store can double as a tray for eating while you are inside your car. This is great for long road trips, especially if you are in a hurry and you have got no time to stop and sit down for a meal.

Maximise the Use of your Smart Phone

Everyone is dependent on their smart phones. Maximise the use of it by looking for affordable and safe car hire around the area.

Travelling to Melbourne, Australia? Make sure to check this car hire in Melbourne for a more convenient trip.

Put your Phone in a Ziplock

Heading for the beach? Remember to bring a ziplock bag with you to store your phone in. This allows you to take pictures and selfies without having to worry about having sand in and on your phone, and it getting wet.

Bring an Empty Water Bottle

A bottle of water can cost a lot inside the airport, so it would be wise to bring your own.

The only problem is that the airport security prohibits the passengers from storing any type of liquid inside their carry-ons.

However, you can always bring an empty bottle and fill it up once you get past security.

Airport lounges usually have water dispensers laying around anyway.

Scan your Documents

Your passport, visa, and other travel documents are the most important part of your trip, and you should never lose them. However, accidents are sometimes inevitable.

The best way to prevent dealing with hassle is to scan your documents one by one and send them to your own email.

This prevents any type of problem if you ever lose your documents or get victimized by a petty thief.

Pack your Bottles Properly

Packing bottles of shampoo, body wash, perfumes, or any type of liquid can be a problem for travellers.

Leakage can be prevented by getting a piece of plastic and placing it over the mouth of your bottle container.

Finish the hack by putting the cap on and stacking it inside your luggage.

Make Good Use of Foursquare

Bored during a long layover? Open Foursquare and check the comments section – some people are actually nice enough to share the Wi-Fi passwords in certain places.

These tips surely make travelling easier and fun. Have a safe trip!
