Travel Dave Annual review 2011

Each year I put together an Annual Review to reflect on what has happened over the past year and share future plans for Travel Dave.
After a lovely vacation, I have returned to Travel Dave HQ (A gloomy student dorm on the west coast of Finland). It has been a very eventful break with an escape in the sizzling sun of Dubai, followed by Christmas with the family in London topped off with a new year celebration in Norway.
But now I’m back and ready for action, planning to make 2011 go off with a bang.
I have big plans for travel Dave over 2011 and I plan to work my little cotton socks off to keep the site active and full of content for you the reader to enjoy.
As well as tips and advice I will also be writing some themed blogs related to my current travels, here’s what’s in store for the future:
Jan-Feb: will be studying in Finland and will keep you in the loop on what it’s like to study abroad and how to do it, meanwhile in Finland I will be travelling to Turku the capital of Culture in 2011 as well as visiting a castle and hotel completely made of ice (exciting).
I will also be visiting some travel exhibitions and hope to gather some awesome material.
Late Spring: come along for the journey as I travel around South East Asia for the first time and I will be blogging very actively about the adventure along the way.
June-August: want to know what it’s like to work in Singapore? Follow me as I start my first Asian job placement in this diamond of a city.
September-November: you find me returning to Wales for my Final year at University, plenty to blog about student life in Wales and will be glad to share it with you.
December: the plan is to hop across the pond to the city that never sleeps to make the most out of the cheap winter airfares to experience the city just before Christmas.
That’s the rough plan for travel Dave during 2011 and I hope you come along for the journey also! It’s going to be a big year full of exciting new blogs to read along the way!
Come along for the journey with Travel Dave
